This is a video of the director of the International Dark Sky Association on CBS this morning. He is discussing what can be done to fix the problem of light pollution, and I really think it's worth watching. He describes it as too much of a good thing, adding too much light to the enivronment has been a problem. It produces 750 million tons of CO2 per year! That is so horrible, and also something that we addressed on our website in the Education portion of it. We spend $110 billion on wasted light annually. That is WAY too much, and this is a problem that could be fixed so easily! Please take a look and try to educate yourself, and also have a look at our website to learn more about light pollution on campus!
