SUMMA STREETS!!

Wow. Just wow. Those are the words I have for a short film called "Summer Streets." It was a very enlightening 4 1/2 minutes. In New York City, 7 miles of streets are closed to cars and stay open for pedestrians and bikers. There are different types of dance classes offered on the street and many other activities! This is something that we should DEFINITELY try to do in the valley! Which street though? I could use some input on this. A historical street would be best, one with a ton of trees! I don't know if Salt Lake City is small enough to do this. Maybe South Temple would be the street? I DO NOT KNOW! I hope we discuss this in class tomorrow.I'm going to post the link to this post because I think it is important to get it out into the community. Everyone should see this, and we should work to make it a reality! I loved this film, plain and simple, and I think every city should have something like this.
